China recognizes Sun as outstanding philanthropist.

CHINA (September 2007)—Sun Ho was featured in the in-house publication of Beijing’s Hyatt Regency Hotel. The article named her the Angel of Love in recognition of her remarkable philanthropic efforts in China. It also highlighted her immense success in the international pop music scene where she beat Madonna to claim the Number 1 spot on an American music chart.

Despite her successes, the celebrity’s focus remains mostly on her humanitarian efforts, noting that if she had to choose between singing and charity, she would opt for charity work for its capability to save lives. The article also mentioned her work in Singapore where she helped found a community service association and a school. Wanting to do more, Sun also extended her philanthropic efforts beyond Singapore into China where she helped to build four schools in Guizhou so more children can receive education.
