Sun impresses at her first concert in China.

HONG KONG (August 2007)—Singaporean singer Sun Ho was featured in Hong Kong magazine, Zenith, after her first concert in China. The opening pages of the magazine featured a personal handwritten message from Sun with well wishes for the magazine, as well as her recent concert in China which left a deep impression on the concertgoers with her powerhouse singing and energetic dances.

The main article described Sun’s steady rise in the world of pop music which has gained popularity in major Asian cities like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. More recently, she has also broken into the American music market and is honored to become the first Asian star to ascend the American Billboard Charts.

Apart from her successes, Sun’s charity work has not gone unnoticed. She set up a community service association in Singapore and also opened schools in China. Just recently, Sun was selected to be one of the organizers of the Beijing Olympic Songfest which requires her to encourage as many university students as possible to write songs for the upcoming Olympics.

Besides her multi-portfolio, Sun the fashionista is also constantly putting her eye for fashion to good use, by bringing couture labels into Singapore through her four street fashion boutiques.

The article did not fail to mention how Sun overcame her difficult past when she struggled with depression for a season. A group of close friends rallied around her and helped her walk out of this dark period. Because of this, Sun has been a constant beacon of hope for many others out there who may be going through similar situations.
