Revealing The Athlete In Sun
Sun shares her thoughts on the Olympics with IWeekly.
SINGAPORE (19 July 2007)—After she was selected as the Music Ambassador for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, local publication IWeekly did an interview with pop star Sun Ho which revealed the sporty side in her.
The report disclosed how Sun was very much a tomboy growing up because of her short hair and tanned complexion. In addition, she always enjoyed sports, being part of her school’s basketball team and participating in track events. When asked what Olympic event she would join, she said she would go for a track event. However, when it comes to viewing these various sports events, the singer preferred to watch the swimming and gymnastics competitions. Sun was also asked which country she would support for the Olympics and China was her reply.
As the Music Ambassador, Sun said if she were asked to design something to symbolize the Olympics, she would gather every Chinese person in the world and stage a huge concert.
Finally, Sun shared that she used to visit the gym but dances to keep fit nowadays. Fruits and vegetables are her food of choice, and she tries to abstain from starchy foods before a concert. |
