Homegrown pop star collaborates with chart-topping producer Wyclef Jean for her first English album.

SINGAPORE (7 September 2006)—Local newspaper Today uncovered the latest hush-hush surrounding Sun Ho’s much-anticipated English album—famous rapper-producer Wyclef Jean will be producing her first full-length English album due for release early next year. What began as a co-writing venture on one song, eventually led to Jean leaving his mark on the rest of the album.

Although this means a wait of several more months, the singer explained that they had to work around Jean’s tight schedule which resulted in a later launch.

While she is full of anticipation, the article also reflected the singer’s thoughts on handling two album releases in 2007 as preparations for her fifth Mandarin album are already underway. The celebrity also mentioned that neither her American nor Taiwanese management companies are willing to postpone their launch, which means her busy schedule will continue to escalate.

For now, fans will be able to hear Sun’s vocals on the opening song of the Cancer Warriors Project CD—a charity effort fronted by Stella Thng of Lime magazine that aids cancer victims and their family members. As she was unable to fly back, Sun acquired help from renowned producer, Peter Stengaard from LA, for the track “One More Moment.” Both singer and producer also did their bit for charity when the latter reduced his professional fees which Sun paid with her own money.
