TAIWAN (28 November 2005)—A Taiwanese article lauded Sun’s excellence as both a singer and more recently, a businesswoman. After opening her first fashion outlet called SKIN, the singer-cum-boutique owner opened her second retail store carrying apparel and accessories from Ed Hard—one of Hollywood’s latest fashion staples featuring tattoo-inspired motifs.
Following the opening in November, several local and foreign celebrities have patronized the shop. One of them was none other than Taiwanese singer, Jolin Tsai, who was seen browsing the hip collection at The Heeren Shops in Singapore.
The report also highlighted the singer’s passion for clothes and how her diverse buying experiences abroad, coupled with advice from friends, contributed to her venture into the fashion retail business. She also added that the main purpose of opening the two outlets is to introduce a wider range of fashion choices for the people in Singapore.
On another note, Sun’s music career has seen remarkable results with her latest single, “Ends of the Earth,” currently positioned at No. 2 on the US Billboard dance chart, right after Madonna. She is also preparing for her English album which will be launched in March 2006.
