Ed Hardy Comes To Singapore

Popular Hollywood fashion label, Ed Hardy, roars into the local fashion scene.

SINGAPORE (7 November 2005)—Singapore’s main English newspaper, The Straits Times, featured an article on Sun’s second and latest venture into the fashion retail scene. Sun, who was in New York recording her English album, returned to Singapore to attend the official opening of her newest store, Ed Hardy. Located in The Heeren, along one of Singapore’s busiest shopping belts in Orchard Road, the Ed Hardy store sits within a space of 750 sq ft. According to the report, the entire operation cost her “several hundred thousand dollars.” The Ed Hardy line of clothing and accessories combines the intricate artwork of Californian tattoo master, Don Ed Hardy, and French designer, Christian Audigier. The store’s launch was attended by several local celebrities and also included an impressive fashion show.
