Weeks after signing the contract with her US management company, Sun Ho made her debut appearance at the celebrated Beatstock festival in New Jersey.

SINGAPORE (29 August 2005)—Local newspaper, The Straits Times, interviewed and featured homegrown celebrity Sun Ho on her highly successful performance at a two-day music festival organized by KTU—America's top radio station in New York. The event alone saw over 16,000 people in attendance.

Introducing her fourth single, Ends of the Earth, and accompanied by a group of five dancers, Sun overwhelmed her audience with her impeccable moves and stirring vocals. Her dance sequence was learnt off a videotape sent to her by Jeri Slaughter, one of LA's top choreographers. Slaughter, who has worked with other artists such as Christina Aguilera, was visibly impressed by Sun's amazing skill and progress, not having met her in person until hours before the concert started. Said the petite singer, “We were supposed to work together for four hours, but we only needed one hour.”

The article also mentioned her advancement in the entertainment sector with plans already underway for her debut English album, scheduled for release in early 2006. Offering more pop-rock than dance-oriented numbers this time, the move marks the singer's venture into the mainstream market after her success in dance music.

Traversing between the US and Singapore frequently, the recently-turned boutique owner uses these trips to stock her newly-opened shop in Singapore called Skin. Come October, this fashion pioneer will also open another boutique at The Heeren shopping mall, carrying the exclusive Ed Hardy line of apparel and accessories.
